Chris Page made his debut as a weather presenter on Good Morning Britain on Monday, July 27, stepping in temporarily for regular presenters Laura Tobin and Alex Beresford.

Introduced by Richard Madeley, who said, "We've got a new weather guy today! If you are in the Anglia region, you'll know him - he's been doing it for years there. But he's got up very, very early and he's come all the way down from Norwich. Here's Chris with the weather," Page delivered his first forecast detailing patchy cloud and rain in the north and west.

Background and Experience

Chris joined ITV in 2017 and regularly presents alongside ITV News Anglia presenters Becky Jago and David Whiteley. Over the years, he has presented weather updates from Latitude Festival, scout camps, while sailing, inside a lambing shed, and speeding down a zip wire. He also reported on the Beast from the East in 2018.

Upcoming Heatwave

His debut comes as the UK is set to face more hot weather, with a peak on Wednesday, July 29. Forecasts suggest temperatures may rise as high as 35 degrees, marking the fourth heatwave this year. A record-breaking May temperature of 35.1 degrees was recorded at Kew Gardens, followed by 36 degrees in London in June and a 13-day heatwave in July.
