Timothée Chalamet has been seen flirting with Gwyneth Paltrow in the newly released trailer for his upcoming film Marty Supreme, sparking a viral moment online. The scene shows Chalamet's character telling Paltrow's movie star: 'I saw you in the lobby yesterday… I've never talked to an actual movie star… I'm something of a performer too.'
The film, directed by Josh Safdie, follows a young man who 'goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness' and has a dream 'no-one respects', according to producers A24. The cast also includes Tyler, The Creator, Odessa A'zion, and Fran Drescher. Chalamet sports a moustache and glasses for the role.
The 29-year-old actor recently won the leading actor prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. Marty Supreme is set for release on Christmas Day 2025.
Meanwhile, speculation about Chalamet's relationship with Kylie Jenner has grown after the reality star shared a series of bikini snaps and posted melancholy song lyrics on social media, including Jeff Buckley's 'Lover, You Should've Come Over'. Fans have noted a lack of recent photos of the couple together, fuelling break-up rumours.
The pair were first linked in April 2023 and made their public debut as a couple at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour in September 2023. Since then, they have kept their relationship low-key, avoiding public comments about one another.
