Celebrity Traitors returns to the BBC this week with a highly-anticipated second series featuring a fresh batch of famous contestants. The star-studded spin-off sees 21 celebrities play the ultimate game of lies, deceit and betrayal, set in the stunning grounds of a castle in the Scottish Highlands.
The celebrities come from a range of backgrounds and will be appointed either a Traitor or a Faithful by host Claudia Winkleman. The second series follows last year's incredibly successful launch, which became one of TV's highlights thanks to moments like Celia Imrie's unexpectedly hilarious way to ease tension during a supposedly spooky challenge, and the glorious chaos brought by Alan Carr, a man completely unfamiliar with the concept of a "poker face".
How to Watch and Prize Details
The 21 celebrities will descend on the Scottish castle as the series returns to BBC One and iPlayer on Thursday, October 1. Fans can tune in at 8pm on BBC One, followed by The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked with Ed Gamble at 9pm.
The winning star will receive a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Alan Carr's Prediction
Current champion Alan Carr recently gave his verdict on who viewers should look out for. Speaking to the ECHO on the red carpet at the National Television Awards earlier this month, the comedian said: "I think people need to watch out for Miranda Hart, because she is just like me and I won the show."
His comedic charm and careless approach to being a Traitor meant he took home the title last year.
