The third episode of Celebrity Traitors will air on BBC One and iPlayer at 8pm on Thursday, October 8. The following episode will be broadcast at the same time on Friday, October 9. New episodes will continue to be released every Thursday and Friday until the series finale on Friday, October 30.
First Traitors Selected
Claudia Winkleman chose Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant as the first two Traitors on Thursday, October 1, after Richard accidentally revealed he was a Traitor in front of a group of Faithfuls. At the end of the first episode, Maya and Richard selected two Faithfuls to meet them in the chapel, with one becoming a Traitor and the other becoming the first murdered star.
On Friday, October 2, it was revealed that James Acaster was chosen to join the Traitors, while Amol Rajan left the castle. The remaining contestants then took part in their second mission, which involved being buried alive. Jerry Hall asked to be removed from the coffin before the challenge began, meaning she was instantly put up for murder alongside Hannah Fry.
Roundtable Cliffhanger
The first roundtable of the series followed, with Julie Hesmondhalgh, Ross Kemp, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Richard having to defend themselves. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, prompting complaints from viewers. One person wrote on X: "What a b***** cliffhanger!" Another added: "Simply can't wait almost a week to find out who gets banished [crying emoji]." A third said: "Sorry that was a f****** awful ending to that episode wtf." Someone else echoed the sentiment, saying: "NOOOOOO NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE WEEK."

Fans can also watch The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, the show's official video podcast, ahead of the next episode.
