Netflix's hit period drama Bridgerton has captivated audiences for six years, but many of its stars had humble beginnings on BBC medical drama Casualty. Recent throwback images shared by Casualty on social media have highlighted the early careers of several Bridgerton actors, leaving fans astonished.
Adjoa Andoh, known for her role as Lady Danbury, played staff nurse Colette Griffiths on Casualty from 2000 to 2003. Ruth Gemmell, who portrays Violet Bridgerton, appeared twice: as Kate Margolin in 2010 and as DC Monica Darling in 2014. Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma, guest-starred as Shai Anderton in season 33, while Claudia Peyton, Eloise Bridgerton, was Jenny Anover in season 28. Regé-Jean Page, who played the Duke of Hastings in the first season, took on the role of student Daniel Kimpton in 2005, one of his first acting jobs.
Fans took to social media to express their surprise, with one commenting: 'Love how all of these were Bridgerton!! So nice to see the casualty team highlighting their success.'
