Bradley and Barney Walsh alarmed by deadly pufferfish

Bradley Walsh and his son Barney were left alarmed after spotting a deadly pufferfish during their mud crab hunting adventure in Australia. The moment was captured in an exclusive clip from the seventh series of their ITV show, Bradley and Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad.

Encounter with a Deadly Pufferfish

While wading through the water armed with spears, Barney, 28, suddenly caught sight of a pufferfish. Pufferfish are known to be fatal to humans due to a powerful neurotoxin called tetrodotoxin. When threatened, they swell up and display razor-sharp spines.

In the preview clip, the father-son duo are accompanied by an expert who warns them to keep their spears ready. Bradley, 65, struggles with the spears, admitting he is not accurate enough. Barney then spots the pufferfish and exclaims, "Woah! Dad, I just saw a pufferfish..."

Bradley asks if they can eat it, to which Barney replies, "They're dangerous though, they'll sting you and kill you." Bradley quips, "Something else that will kill you? Jesus Christ," poking fun at Australia's notorious wildlife.

The Search for Mud Crabs

The group spends an hour searching for mud crabs without success. Bradley observes, "I'm pretty sure we're hopeless at this!" Eventually, they spot a mud crab on the beach. When Barney volunteers to retrieve it, Bradley hesitates and lists UK supermarkets where they could buy one instead.

Barney lifts the crab, exclaiming, "Woah, woah, woah, woah!" before placing it in a bucket. The trio then prepare to cook their catch.
