Blade Runner 2099, the eight-episode limited series from Ridley Scott, will premiere on Prime Video on November 25. The show's bosses unveiled a teaser trailer and first-look images at San Diego Comic-Con, introducing lead star Hunter Schafer.
Series Overview and Cast
Schafer plays Cora, a fugitive who is forced to become a Blade Runner—a special police officer who hunts down Replicants. The teaser also introduces Olwen (Michelle Yeoh), a dying Replicant Blade Runner on a mission to hunt a dangerous runaway. Together, they reluctantly join forces to hunt rogue androids and save the city from destruction.

Set 50 years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, the series takes place in a dystopian Los Angeles. All eight episodes will drop simultaneously in over 240 countries and territories on Prime Video. The streamer described the show: 'Fifty years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, Los Angeles has been reborn, just not by humanity.'
