Big Brother UK has confirmed the reboot's first rule break after housemates Hallie and Olivia were caught communicating in secret code during nominations. The pair were seen drawing letters on one another's backs in the episode aired on Wednesday, October 18, sparking fury among ITV viewers.
During the incident, Olivia asked Hallie to "write me secret messages on my back," with Hallie responding, "Did you get the first letter?" When Olivia guessed "N? O?", Hallie said, "Okay, stop spelling now!" The conversation was captured on camera, leading to calls for punishment from viewers at home.
Presenter AJ Odudo addressed the breach on Big Brother: Late and Live, telling viewers: "I can confirm that we've only had a blooming rule break. Big Brother caught Hallie and Olivia drawing housemates' names on one another's backs, but don't worry this didn't affect the outcome of this week's nominations but you'll have to tune in tomorrow to find out how Big Brother will deal with these two. Punishment time."
This week's eviction nominees are Zak and Henry, who received the most nominations from their fellow housemates. Zak got five votes from Hallie, Kerry, Chanelle, Jenkin, and Henry, with reasons including eating all the food and being disingenuous. Henry received four nominations from Dylan, Olivia, Noky, and Jenkin, who cited a lack of effort around the house.
