Big Brother housemates faced their first nominations of the series on tonight's show, with four now up for the public vote. The tension was high as the group gathered in the Living Room and were instructed to nominate two housemates each, giving full, frank and valid reasons for their choices.
Richard was forced to nominate face-to-face after receiving the cursed eye the previous night. His first choice left Elsa in tears, as he argued she was not being herself in the house. Speaking to Teja afterwards, an upset Elsa said: "He's saying you don't seem like yourself in the house and he's doing me a favour getting me out, no you're not! Now I feel even more out of place!" Richard's second nomination went to Cameron B, following a misunderstanding during a game earlier in the week.
When the votes were counted, George received the most nominations with six, from Cameron B, Feyisola, Jenny, Nancy, Sam and Teja. Cameron B and Elsa each received four nominations. Cameron B was nominated by Cameron, Elsa, Richard and Zelah, while Elsa was nominated by Caroline, George, Jenny and Richard. These three, along with Richard who holds the cursed eye, will face Friday night's public vote.
Marcus was also a significant talking point in the Diary Room, despite not being up for eviction. Sam nominated him, saying he was "so attractive it's borderline too much. And I can't be my full self around them." Jenny, meanwhile, explained her decision to nominate Elsa, claiming: "She got really drunk the other night and she turned really nasty, while drinking, towards Marcus. Cause Marcus is such a lovely fella so I think she realised the next morning then she thought, oh I'll play the 'I don't remember' card."
Viewers can vote from tonight to save their favourite, with the eviction set to take place on Friday. Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
