Former Coronation Street star Beverley Callard has revealed a large floral tattoo covering most of her lower right leg. The 68-year-old actress, best known for playing Liz McDonald, posed in tiny denim shorts and a white t-shirt in her kitchen as temperatures soared across the UK.
The Mongolia-themed inking features pink, blue and red flowers cascading from her kneecap to her foot. This is Callard's second tattoo; she previously had comedy and tragedy masks, a love heart, and a music score dedicated to her husband Jon McEwan and their wedding anniversary.
In a social media clip, Callard filmed her husband returning home covered in muck after work. She quipped that he smelt of burnt rubber, and he joked about having had a tough day. The video garnered attention from fans, many of whom commented on her striking tattoo.
Callard is set to appear in the Discovery+ series 'Help! My House is Haunted', where paranormal experts investigate homes of famous faces. Last year, she shared a video of what she believed were two orbs floating in her barn at 1am, sparking speculation among fans about ghostly activity.
Despite some suggesting the orbs were spiders on a web, Callard dismissed the theory. Her husband investigated and found nothing, but concluded it could be a ghost. The actress joked about moving out, but fans urged her to stay in Norfolk.
