Vigil season three debuted on Sunday, August 30, at 9pm on BBC One, with episode two following on Monday, August 31. Both episodes are already available on BBC iPlayer.
New investigation abroad
The new series follows DCI Amy Silva (Suranne Jones) and DI Kirsten Longacre (Rose Leslie) as they raise their young son together in Scotland. This time, Kirsten is asked to lead an investigation abroad after a British soldier on an undercover mission is murdered.
Kirsten flies to Svalbard, Norway, while Amy investigates from the homefront, with their worlds expected to collide again.
Full episode schedule
Season three consists of six episodes, airing on Sundays and Mondays over the next few weeks. The sixth and final episode is set to air on Monday, September 14.
