Viewer reactions
One IMDb reviewer described the series as "deeply moving," writing: "This was a deeply moving series that did an excellent job of explaining what happened in 1988 and the years that followed. I remember the news footage vividly as a ten-year-old, and the tragedy was deeply traumatic for so many of us."
The reviewer added: "Credit to everyone involved in producing this. It feels as though they genuinely succeeded in treating the victims, their families, and everyone affected with the dignity and respect they deserve. The story of the town of Lockerbie and its people is perhaps the most touching part of all."
Another viewer described the 2025 mini-series as "exceptionally well done," adding: "Highly recommend watching this limited series It's Informative and poignant. While it's dramatized, it's factual and a well-researched production."
