One IMDb reviewer described the series as "deeply moving," writing: "This was a deeply moving series that did an excellent job of explaining what happened in 1988 and the years that followed. It feels as though they genuinely succeeded in treating the victims, their families, and everyone affected with the dignity and respect they deserve. The story of the town of Lockerbie and its people is perhaps the most touching part of all."
