The BBC miniseries The Bombing of Pan Am 103 has become one of Netflix's most-watched shows, ranking third in the UK and second in the US charts.
The six-part series, which first aired on BBC last year, was added to Netflix last week. It follows the investigation into the December 21, 1988 bombing of Pan Am flight 103, which exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 270 people, including 43 British citizens and 190 Americans. It remains the worst terror attack on British soil.

The series covers the exhaustive search for evidence in Scotland, the US, and Malta, leading to the trial at Camp Zeist in 2000 and the upcoming new trial in the US. It also highlights the human impact on families, investigators, and the Lockerbie community.
The cast includes Connor Swindells, Patrick J Adams, Eddie Marsan, Tony Curran, Kevin McKidd, Merritt Wever, Lauren Lyle, Phyllis Logan, and Cora Bissett. Swindells, who plays Detective Sergeant McCusker, met the real detective while filming and said: "Meeting Ed was great. He’s an incredibly warm, friendly man who was so generous with his time."
