Tim Lovejoy's Three-Word Response as Chef Tom Kerridge Makes Early Exit on Sunday Brunch

During the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, viewers were left surprised as chef Tom Kerridge made an early exit, leaving hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer stunned. The incident occurred on the Channel 4 show on Sunday, August 18, while musician Frank Turner was performing and Kerridge was cooking.

After finishing his burger creation, Kerridge prepared to leave, prompting co-host Simon Rimmer to ask, "You're going now, aren't you?" and "You're not staying for the show?" Kerridge cheekily replied, "I'm off!" and explained, "That's what time I was told I was going! 12 shows in and I come up here, I do what I'm told then I go."

Lovejoy then teased, "Maybe you got bored of coming?" to which Kerridge simply chuckled. The awkward moment followed a previous incident on the show when Pop Idol's Will Young inadvertently swore while recounting a story from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, forcing Lovejoy to apologise to viewers.
