BBC confirms The Bidding Room replaced by The Repair Shop

The BBC has announced that The Repair Shop will replace The Bidding Room in its usual Tuesday midday slot on BBC One, a move that has delighted fans.

Schedule Change

The Bidding Room, fronted by Nigel Havers, has been airing new episodes every Wednesday, while older episodes have been shown on Tuesdays. However, next Tuesday, August 11, at 3.30pm, The Repair Shop will take over the timeslot, airing the second episode of its 14th season.

In the upcoming episode, leather expert Suzie Fletcher and textile conservator Rebecca Bissonet will team up to restore a jacket and collar worn by a rescue dog that helped search for survivors of the Lockerbie bombing.
