Ariana Grande No Longer Starring in American Horror Story Season 13
Ariana Grande Out of American Horror Story Season 13

FX announced on Thursday, July 9, that American Horror Story will return for season 13 on September 24 in the US, with no confirmed UK debut date. However, anticipation has been building since Halloween 2025 when singer and Wicked star Ariana Grande was revealed as part of the all-star cast, alongside regulars Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, and Billie Lourd.

Ariana Grande Drops Out Due to Tour Conflicts

Unfortunately, Ariana Grande will no longer star in season 13 of American Horror Story, despite the initial casting announcement. According to reports, the 33-year-old singer had to withdraw because of timing conflicts with the horror series' production dates, which overlap with her Eternal Sunshine tour. She had not filmed any scenes for the new series, and fans noticed her absence when the cast was spotted shooting exterior scenes in New York.

Ariana rescheduled her Eternal Sunshine tour July concert dates at the end of June, shifting shows in Brooklyn and Boston by a couple of days. She will continue her tour with upcoming stops in Canada, New York, and London.

Previously announced stars Frances Conroy from Six Feet Under and model Alex Consani were spotted shooting on set. Other confirmed cast members include Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Avantika Vandanapu, who were seen alongside Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and others during filming in New York.

Details about the plot of American Horror Story season 13 remain under wraps. The series is available to watch on Disney Plus in the UK, and season 13 is expected to land on the platform in late September or early October.
