David Haye was booed during the live final of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after he heckled contestant Adam Thomas from the audience. The former boxer interrupted Adam's chat with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, leading to a shouting match.
Haye shouted: 'Do you think you deserve to win this, after calling Jimmy the c-word a couple of times?' Adam responded: 'After that trial, I deserve it yeah,' which was met with cheers. Ant and Dec attempted to calm the situation, but Haye continued, claiming 'a lot of that stuff cut out of it.'
Ant then told Haye: 'There was a lot of stuff that was said, that was un-broadcastable. Look, we'll get into all of this later on in the show, you'll all have a right to reply.' Viewers at home reacted on social media, with one writing: 'David the fire starter, not surprised lol.'
The final descended into chaos as each person was given time to explain. Jimmy Bullard claimed he would receive different pay depending on how he left the show, accusing Adam of being 'abusive, aggressive and intimidating.' Adam said: 'I take full responsibility for my actions. Emotions were definitely running high.'
Haye again tried to join in, prompting Dec to tell him he 'wasn't even there.' A shouting match ensued between contestants as Sinitta and Gemma Collins walked out of shot. Earlier, Adam had referenced the 'drama' overshadowing the season, with reports that worse language had been cut from the broadcast.
