Former Hollyoaks actor Andy Moss has married his partner Mark Bennett in a sun-drenched ceremony on a Greek island. The couple shared pictures from their special day on Instagram, captioning the post: 'Little [Greek flag] wedding, BIG fun, best crew'.
Among the guests were Moss's former Hollyoaks co-stars Bronagh Waugh, who played Cheryl Brady, and Jessica Forrest, who played Leanne Holiday. Fellow cast member Zoe Lister, known for her role as Zoe Carpenter, commented: 'So wonderful!!! Loadssss of love', while Ashley Taylor Dawson, who plays Darren Osborne, added: 'Well this is all kinds of lovely! Congratulations!!'
The wedding follows Moss's engagement announcement in June 2022, when he revealed that Bennett had proposed during a romantic trip to the Greek resort of Naxos. The newlyweds had also held a previous ceremony in the UK, with Gemma Bissix, who played Clare Devine, commenting: 'Absolutely beauts!!!! Hugest congrats'.
Moss played Rhys Ashworth in Hollyoaks from 2005 to 2012, a character involved in several hard-hitting storylines, including an incestuous relationship with his half-sister, supporting his sister through anorexia, and a fatal bus crash after an affair. He briefly returned in 2014 as a hallucination.
Before Hollyoaks, Moss appeared in Cutting It, Coronation Street and Merseybeat, and later starred in Doctors. He also took on the title role in Frank's Closet.
