Amanda Owen Reflects on Life After Marriage Split

Amanda Owen, known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, appeared on Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch on October 3 without her wedding ring, four months after confirming her separation from husband Clive Owen. The 48-year-old described being single after 22 years as a 'weird situation' but said she and Clive remain on good terms.

The couple, who have nine children together, announced their split in a joint statement in June. They said the decision was difficult but believed it was the right choice for their family's future. They continue to work together on the farm and co-parent their children.

Speaking on the show, Amanda said: 'It's a weird situation, but we're actually all just fine, just getting on with it.' The confirmation of their separation followed months of speculation about their marriage.

Amanda had previously addressed the rumours on Lorraine in December last year, acknowledging that having cameras around during tough times is challenging. She said: 'You have your difficult moments. But you have to take the rough with the smooth.'

Despite the split, the family continues to film the popular Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm. Amanda said life on the farm goes on, with nine children and many animals to care for, and their priority remains keeping everything going.
