Dermot explains Alison's absence
After This Morning returned from a break, Dermot addressed Alison's absence. He told viewers: "Welcome back to This Morning, Alison is feeling a little unwell, so she's just had to duck out. Hopefully she'll be back."
He later confirmed she would not be returning, saying: "Ali's feeling a little unwell, so I'll be here for the rest of the show." Dermot continued with the rest of the show himself, and Alison has yet to address her absence.
