This Morning star Alison Hammond has been announced as the host of the official Bridgerton podcast for the show's fourth season. The podcast, produced by Netflix and Shondaland, will accompany the release of the new episodes later this month.
Hammond, who co-hosts This Morning on Fridays with Dermot O'Leary and The Great British Bake Off with Noel Fielding, is a self-professed Bridgerton fan. Over six episodes, she will interview cast and creatives, including new romantic leads Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha.
Thompson reprises his role as Benedict Bridgerton, while Ha plays his mysterious Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek. Further guests remain unannounced, but the podcast promises to explore the season's central romance and other developments.
The podcast will be available on Netflix in the US and on YouTube elsewhere. The first episode drops on 29th January alongside part one of season four, with two more episodes weekly. After part two releases on 26th February, three additional episodes will follow weekly. Audio versions will also be available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Netflix has also announced other Bridgerton tie-ins, including a live-streamed premiere in Paris on 14th January, fan events in over 20 countries, and collaborations with brands like Dove, Pandora, and Liberty of London. Netflix's Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee said the excitement for season four is at an all-time high, with plans to deepen fan engagement globally.
