The upcoming Jane Eyre adaptation starring Aimee Lou Wood has received an exciting update, with the BBC joining the project as co-developer and broadcaster-financier.
The series, produced by Working Title, will see the White Lotus and Sex Education actress play Charlotte Bronte's heroine in a new take on the 1847 bestseller. Deadline reported the BBC's involvement, though few other details about the adaptation have been revealed.
