Channel 4 has teased fans of 24 Hours in Police Custody with a social media post hinting at potential new episodes. The documentary series, which first aired in 2014, follows real-life police investigations in real time, from the initial 999 call through to conviction.

The Channel 4 documentaries Facebook page shared a screengrab this week showing a pending request to join a 24 Hours in Police Custody fan group. The post read: "Let us in and we'll fess up about new episodes."
Fans responded with enthusiasm, with one writing: "One of my favourite shows can’t wait." Another said: "Please make some new episodes! And keep making them, use different counties if you need to!" A third added: "Tell me when! Obsessed haha."
