November brings a slate of gripping television, headlined by the return of Netflix's Black Doves, a spy thriller that quickly became a favorite after its 2024 debut. The month also features new seasons of The Assassin, Rivals, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, plus the premiere of Blade Runner 2099 and the annual return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
Black Doves Season 2 Leads the Pack
Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw reprise their roles as Helen and Sam, best friends who are also a spy and an assassin. Sarah Lancashire returns as Black Doves spy boss Reed, whose shocking backstory is set to take viewers on an emotional journey. Ambika Mod joins the cast as Laila, a Black Doves agent whose quips are as lethal as her gun skills. Black Doves season 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
More Thrillers and Dramas to Watch
The Assassin season 2 sees Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore reprise their roles as mother and son Julie and Edward, who are once again running for their lives and trying to save Edward's wife Kayla (Shalom Brune-Franklin) after her kidnapping. The season is available on Prime Video.
Rivals returns with the second half of season 2 on Disney Plus, following the tragic death of Monica (Claire Rushbrook) and the brewing love triangle between Taggie (Bella Maclean), Rupert (Alex Hassell), and Bas (Luke Pasqualino). The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 3 premieres with its first four episodes on Prime Video, returning to Middle-earth at war as Sauron's armies cause destruction.
