Disney has increased the cost of its Disney+ streaming service in the UK, with the new prices taking effect from 30 September. The move follows a similar price rise by Netflix earlier this year.
Monthly subscriptions for the Standard with Ads and Standard plans have risen by £1, now costing £5.99 and £9.99 respectively. The Premium plan has increased by £2 per month, bringing it to £14.99.
Annual passes have also been affected. The Standard annual plan has jumped by £10 to £99.90, while the Premium annual subscription has increased by £20 to £149.90.
Existing subscribers may be impacted, with Disney's terms stating that users will receive 30 days' notice of any price changes. The Mirror has contacted Disney for clarification on how and when these changes apply to current customers.
