Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank welcomed their third child, a baby girl, on Monday. The birth took place at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, at 6.20pm on August 3. The baby weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces.
Royal Family's delight
The Royal Family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, are said to be “delighted” with the news. The new arrival is the couple's third child, joining brothers August and Ernest.
A statement from Buckingham Palace read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.”
Baby's first photo
On Tuesday, Princess Eugenie shared a photograph of the newborn on Instagram, showing the baby in a pink outfit and a sweet hat, holding onto her father Jack's finger. Eugenie wrote: “Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie.”
Life in Portugal
The birth took place in Portugal, where the family spends half of their time, with the other half in London. Jack works with property tycoon Mike Meldman on the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a luxury coastal development.
The couple has yet to confirm their daughter's name, which is likely to be announced in the coming days.
