The Duchess of Sussex has released a new promotional video for her lifestyle brand As Ever, showing her favourite summer dessert – an ice cream sundae made with her own jam and flower sprinkles.
Meghan, who will turn 45 on Tuesday, appeared to be in her garden in Montecito, California, with her beagle Mia in company. She demonstrated how to make the dessert, putting her new As Ever Raspberry spread first, before scooping some vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread and her viral flower sprinkles.
A Sweet Social Media Reveal
The video on social media was accompanied by the message: “Adding this to our summer menu. Meghan’s favourite ice cream sundae with Raspberry Spread, vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread, and Flower Sprinkles.”
The duchess was also seen sitting while playing with her dog and treating her to some of her homemade dessert, while showcasing her incredibly toned figure.
Full Recipe Shared with As Ever Customers
Meghan’s new video was followed by a newsletter to her As Ever customers, which included more details about how to recreate Meghan’s simple recipe at home. The message read: “For an easy dessert that is as gorgeous as it is tasty, scoop a spoonful (or two!) of Raspberry Spread or Blackberry Spread into the bottom of a large coupe glass. Add your favourite vanilla ice cream and top with crumbled shortbread for crunch. A scattering of Flower Sprinkles over the top adds a touch of colour and whimsy to this sweet treat. A simple dessert, made just a bit more celebratory.”
The Duchess will likely be spoilt rotten on her birthday by her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Although the Sussexes have not officially confirmed their plans for the special day, it is likely that they will mark the occasion privately.
