Meghan Markle's first public appearance since returning to the UK is likely still weeks away, according to a royal expert. The 45-year-old former actress returned to Britain at the end of August and is thought to be living in the Cotswolds with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Expert says Meghan is 'not a shrinking violet'
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Express: "Meghan is known not to be a shrinking violet. She is notorious for her ruthless positivity and her fondness for glamorous appearances."
He added that Meghan could make an appearance at a potential premiere for the film she shot last year. Mr Fitzwilliams said she could appear at the premiere for Close Personal Friends, adding: "It has not been revealed when and where Meghan will publicly appear next. In contrast, Harry has made a variety of public appearances and plans more events to support the Ukrainian charity event United for Freedom."
Possible red carpet appearance
Mr Fitzwilliams continued: "Meghan's cameo in the film Close Personal Friends, where she plays herself, might lead to a red carpet appearance, though the film is in post-production and she hasn't reportedly got much to do in it. Also, there have been reports that she is considering a return to acting, but not necessarily reliable ones."
Her co-star Jack Quaid previously told ET about working with Meghan: "Yeah — no, it was insane. The main cast of it is myself, Brie Larson, Henry Golding and Lily Collins, which is just an incredible group of people to be a part of. And every day, we went to set, and we just tried our best to make each other laugh."
Family settling into new home
Since the Sussexes' return to Britain, the couple's main focus has been settling their children into their new home. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, aged seven and five, are now enrolled in a school near their new home.
