Meghan Markle's former Hollywood agent, Ari Emanuel, has given a blunt verdict on her career, nine years after she stepped back from acting. Emanuel, who heads WME Group as executive chairman, told The Sunday Times: "Here's the great thing: I don't have to think about that anymore."

Meghan was represented by William Morris Endeavour from 2023 until last year, when the agency reportedly dropped her. Insiders later revealed that she was "too demanding" and "difficult to work with."
A Page Six source claimed that tensions escalated in January 2024, when Meghan reportedly had "an outburst," asked for a meeting, and "expected decks and plans" outlining her future. The alleged clash reportedly triggered a falling-out that became a breaking point.
Career before royal life
Meghan had a successful acting career before joining the Royal Family, most notably starring in the US legal drama Suits. In 2017, shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry, she said she was moving away from acting in favour of her new royal role.
Reports have suggested that Meghan was keen to return to acting, but there is no confirmation that she is involved in any roles.
