Love Island's Molly and Tom marry in Mallorca

Love Island All Stars winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare are now married for a second time, having exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Mallorca over the weekend. The couple, who met on the first ever All Stars season of the ITV reality dating show, previously underwent a legal ceremony in Manchester at the end of June.

A second wedding in Mallorca

Molly, 32, and Tom, 26, first married in a courthouse ceremony in Manchester attended by only those closest to the pair, followed by celebrations at The Ivy in the same city. Their second, more lavish wedding took place on the Spanish island of Mallorca, with reports revealing the couple hired out the 17th century mansion Son Marroig. It has been stated that the venue costs £10,000 per night to hire.

Photographs from the event, circulated via social media, show Molly in a strapless white gown and long flowing veil, while Tom wore a white tuxedo and black bow tie. Molly was walked down the aisle by her father, and the couple beamed as they swapped vows and kissed in front of their guests.

Love Island stars among the guests

A large number of fellow Love Island stars were among the guests. Casey O'Gorman, who has appeared on the main Love Island series once, All Stars twice, and also featured on Love Island Games, served as best man to Tom. Social media footage showed the 29-year-old tearing up the dancefloor following the main ceremony.

Other Love Island stars in attendance included Mitch Taylor and his model girlfriend Hayley Griffin, as well as Sophie Piper and her partner Joshua Ritchie. The star guests dressed up for the ceremony and shared video clips and photos online.

One star declined the invitation

One Love Island star who was invited to the event turned down the invitation. Fellow season six contestant Anton Danyluk, 31, said he was too anxious to appear at the ceremony and celebrations out of fear he could lose control with drinking. Taking to social media, the Scotsman explained that he was "honoured" to be invited but would have to decline in order to avoid the temptation of drinking.

Explaining that he previously attempted not to drink for five months before realising it was a case of not knowing when to stop when he did drink, he said: "Since then I drink on the odd social occasion. A few then I stop. Has it got out of hand once or twice? Yeah. But it's still a world away from where it used to be and I'm okay with that."

He added: "So looking back, if I knew then what I know now, I'd have gone. I'd have accepted that it's about the occasion, and about control. At the time I had to say no in order to learn that... Congratulations you two. I'm gutted I missed it but I couldn't be happier for you."
