King Charles will likely take time to see his youngest son, Prince Harry, when he visits the UK in a few days, according to a former royal gardener. Jack Stooks, who once worked on the gardening team at King Charles' Highgrove estate, told the Daily Express that he believes the monarch will meet with Harry despite their strained relationship over recent years.
Former Gardener Predicts Meeting
Speaking exclusively on behalf of OLBG, Stooks said: "I think that the King will take some time to see Harry when he comes over." He added that he does not believe the King would completely cut Harry out of his life. "Hopefully Harry has learnt from past mistakes. The pair meeting up would be a huge step in the right direction towards healing this rift," Stooks commented.
The father and son have not seen each other face-to-face since September 2025, according to reports. Stooks described the current distance as "sad" given how close they once were.
Potential Role of Harry's Children
It is believed that the King is more likely to see Harry if the prince brings his children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, to the UK. The King has reportedly felt sadness over not seeing his grandchildren since 2022, as Archie and Lilibet have not visited Britain for four years.
Reports suggest that King Charles has even offered Harry and his family the chance to stay at a royal residence during their upcoming trip, should it proceed. However, plans may change after it was revealed that Harry would not receive armed police protection in the UK, prompting him to reconsider bringing his children to Britain. Harry has consistently cited security concerns as the reason why his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children have not accompanied him on UK trips since 2022.
