King Charles and Queen Camilla have been given rarely heard nicknames in a new interview by one of Camilla's relatives. As King and Queen, Charles and Camilla are used to being referred to by their formal titles, including their names and the title of Their Majesties. However, it's easy to forget that behind closed doors, this is not how they are always addressed.
Aside from their royal titles, they share the same family relationships and nicknames that many of us have. This has been shown in a new interview by Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles, who referred to Their Majesties as his mother and stepfather, reminding us that away from the royal spotlight, the royals hold roles that many of us also have.

Speaking in an interview with The Press and Journal, Tom spoke about how he frequently visits Braemar and Ballater as it is near the King and Queen's royal Scottish homes of Balmoral and Birkhall. He said: "I've spent a huge amount of time up here over the years, because, obviously, my mother and stepfather live not too far from here."
"And Ballater is one of my favourite places – it's got one of the best bookshops in the world, by the way."
Reading with grandchildren
This is not the only comment he made about the King and Queen. He also spoke about what Their Majesties can be like behind closed doors with reading, especially with their grandchildren. He said: "The King used to do it with Harry Potter with my children, and my nephew and nieces."
"He would sit with them, reading, and he really is a good actor. I think my mother would admit she's good at many things, but she's probably not a natural actor. Although, she was a good reader. But he [The King] would do all the voices in Harry Potter. That was special."
