Irish television presenter Vogue Williams is facing a dramatic turnaround in her I'm A Celebrity fortunes as viewers prepare to vote out the first contestant from this year's All Stars series.
From Favourite to Outsider
When Vogue Williams entered the jungle as a latecomer alongside Tom Read Wilson, she was considered one of the hot favourites to claim the jungle crown. The 40-year-old podcaster and TV personality generated significant excitement among fans when she joined the cast.
However, the unpredictable nature of the jungle has taken its toll, and Williams now finds herself in a precarious position. According to leading bookmaker Ladbrokes, she has become the rank outsider at 200/1 to win the entire series, filmed in the Australian jungle.
Jungle Challenges and Honest Conversations
The mother-of-three has faced physical challenges during her time in camp, suffering an injury after falling and scraping her knee on the way to a trial. Viewers have since seen her moving around the jungle with a bandaged leg.
Despite her dwindling odds, Williams has earned praise from viewers for her openness and honesty. In a particularly candid conversation with fellow campmate Ruby Wax, she openly discussed her experiences with cosmetic treatments.
"I've got this botox woman in Ireland and I went - and she's got a waiting list for like two years - and I went to see her," Williams confessed. "And I went into her and she was just like, [mimics multiple injections], one there, one there, under there, under there. And I was like, 'What am I...?' So I walk out of there and I'm like, 'I'm going to look mental'. And a week later I looked at myself and I was like, 'You!'"
Social media responses to her honesty have been overwhelmingly positive, with one Instagram user commenting: "Have always loved Vogue. She is so down to earth and honest." Another added: "Vogue is being real and I am here for it."
New Favourite Emerges
While Williams faces potential elimination, social media sensation Angry Ginge has surged ahead in the betting odds. The YouTube star has become the clear frontrunner at 5/4 to win after an emotional heart-to-heart with Ruby Wax where he revealed being brutally dumped by an ex via text message while he was live streaming.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes confirmed the shift in fortunes: "Angry Ginge has shown a different side to himself in recent days and punters are loving it. We have been inundated with bets on the internet star and he is now the clear favourite for the crown."
The current top contenders according to bookmakers are:
- Angry Ginge: 5/4
- Aitch: 2/1
- Tom Read Wilson: 5/1
- Lisa Riley: 9/1
- Jack Osbourne: 10/1
With the first elimination looming, all eyes are on whether Vogue Williams can overcome the odds and secure her place in the jungle, or if viewers will send the popular presenter packing in what would represent a stunning early exit for one of the series' most anticipated contestants.
