Vogue Williams beams after I'm A Celebrity eviction, admits relief to leave 'hungry' jungle
Vogue Williams evicted from I'm A Celebrity, smiles at hotel

Vogue Williams appeared positively radiant, showing no signs of disappointment, after becoming the latest celebrity to be evicted from the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. The 40-year-old presenter and model was seen smiling broadly for photographers as she arrived at the luxurious Marriott Hotel in Surfer’s Paradise, Australia, following her departure from the ITV show on Monday night.

A Relieved Exit from Camp Life

Vogue, a mother-of-three, found herself in the bottom two alongside fellow model Kelly Brook during the live episode. Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed that the public vote had sent Vogue home. She was quick to confess to the presenting duo that while she felt 'sad' to leave her campmates, it was a 'big relief' to be out of camp after finding the experience 'so hard'. She specifically cited being left 'so hungry' after days of surviving on a basic diet of rice and beans.

Her beaming smile remained firmly in place as she headed to the hotel where eliminated celebrities stay before flying back to the UK. Still dressed in her jungle uniform of bright red trousers, black boots and a navy vest top, she flashed her toned midriff. She was shortly after greeted by her manager and close friend, Louisa McDonald, who had flown to Australia to support her. Notably absent was her husband, Spencer Matthews, 37.

Husband's Triathlon Mission Prevents Reunion

The Made in Chelsea star was unable to make the trip to greet his wife of seven years at the iconic bridge due to an unwavering commitment: completing seven full Ironman triathlons across seven continents in just 21 days. A source close to the couple described the clash as 'unfortunate but unavoidable'. Spencer is currently on his sixth triathlon in Brazil, before heading to his final race in Antarctica.

Upon her exit, Vogue, who had entered the jungle as a surprise late arrival six days after the others, discussed missing her fellow celebrities but reiterated her joy at leaving the hunger behind. She also touched on the simmering tensions within camp, referencing a recent cooking row viewers had witnessed. 'Ginge and Aitch are a bit resistant to their chores,' she said. 'I don’t really understand the whole cup-gate. I just turned into what I’m like at home.'

She later branded Kelly Brook a 'snake' after being shown footage of the model, along with campmates AngryGinge and Aitch, stealing treats from a Deals on Wheels challenge. Vogue then threw her support behind comedian Ruby Wax, 72, to win, claiming she 'had it in the bag' to be crowned Queen of The Jungle.

Public Opinion and Family Support from Afar

Last week, Spencer had shared a gushing post on Instagram, expressing how proud he was of his wife and how much he missed her. He wrote that she was 'without a doubt the most extraordinary person I’ve met'. Their three children—Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, two—are at home in London being cared for by Vogue’s mother, Sandra. Vogue had previously requested that Spencer not bring the young children on the long flight to Australia due to their ages and school commitments.

Public opinion towards Vogue during her stint seemed to fluctuate. Initially given decent odds to win, her popularity reportedly waned, with bookmakers later making her the least favourite. Some viewers expressed delight at her eviction on social media, though it was noted the vote was not open in her native Ireland. Moments that drew criticism included a heart-to-heart where she told Ruby Wax and Lisa Riley she felt 'so ugly', which some saw as fishing for compliments, and a clash over camp chores.

Additionally, during a drinking challenge against Kelly Brook, viewers argued Kelly should have won after Vogue spilled and vomited her fish eye concoction, while Kelly consumed a blend of pig vagina and bull penis. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues Tuesday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
