Charlotte Berman, who appeared in series three of The Traitors under a fake Welsh persona, has revealed she has pitched a major twist to BBC executive producers: identical twins playing as the same person.
Speaking exclusively on behalf of Buzz Bingo ahead of The Celebrity Traitors series two premiere, Berman said she has already shared her idea with the show's producers.
"I have what I think is the master idea which I need to be implemented. I've mentioned this when I've seen and spoken to some of the executive producers," she said.

"It's to have identical twins. I think it would be so funny, so unnecessary, but put a pair of identical twins in there and have them play as the same person. I don't know if they would be allowed a debrief; I can't tell you what the construct would be. For the viewer, that would be so funny. If that happens, you heard it here first," she added.
Berman appeared in series three alongside Alexander Dragonetti, Francesca Rowan-Plowden and Freddie Fraser. The season was won by Faithfuls Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown.
Welsh accent deception
Throughout the series, Berman spoke with a Welsh accent and claimed she was from Abergavenny, though this was a lie. Viewers learned the truth, but her fellow players only discovered it upon leaving the show, as she never revealed it during the programme.
The Londoner has explained she chose the accent because she believed it was "trustworthy", and her mother also hailed from Wales, but it did not prevent her banishment. Deception is a common tactic in the show, with past players hiding their real jobs or relationships.
No regrets and what's next
Berman said she has "no regrets" about the accent, adding: "I feel very lucky to have been such a memorable part of my series. It was a lot of fun, and I think it was very much in the spirit of The Traitors and the kind of camp, pantomime style of this backstabbing parlour game that we're all playing."
The Celebrity Traitors series two begins tomorrow night at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Famous faces entering the castle include James Blunt, Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart and Rob Beckett.
