Harriet Tyce, the former barrister and crime author turned contestant on BBC's The Traitors, has expressed regret over her heated outburst during Wednesday night's episode. The incident occurred at the breakfast table when she shouted at fellow faithful Roxy after being interrupted.
Tyce, who had won the chance to speak to the traitors, grew irate while sharing her suspicions about Rachel. When Roxy asked her to let Rachel speak, Tyce retorted, 'The benefit is to set the cat amongst the pigeons, Roxy!' The confrontation left Roxy visibly upset, telling Tyce, 'I don't want to hear anything you've got to say... the way you spoke to me at the table was disgusting.'
Reflecting on the moment, Tyce told Metro, 'Unfortunately, and I'm not proud of it at all, I did lose my temper, and I really wish I hadn't.' She clarified that the outburst was not a performance but a result of being 'so deep in the game.' She has since apologised to Roxy, who found it 'hard to watch.'
Tyce's outburst led to her downfall at the roundtable, where she urged others to vote for her to prove her theory about Rachel. Despite her exit, viewers have praised her as 'the best faithful' for earlier ousting traitor Hugo. The Traitors continues Friday and concludes next week.
