Jack Butler, a contestant on the current series of The Traitors, has fuelled speculation that he won the show after proposing to his girlfriend, Kim. The fitness instructor had previously stated he would propose if he won, and fans have now unearthed social media posts showing the engagement took place in Santorini, Greece.
In a recent episode, Butler told fellow contestants: 'I want to be putting a ring on it in a few months' time. I've got a secret plan, the ring is already sorted so it's a massive surprise.' The series was filmed months ago, meaning the winner is already decided, but viewers will not discover the outcome until the final on January 23.
Eagle-eyed fans found pictures on Butler's Instagram account showing him and Kim, with Kim displaying a sparkling new engagement ring. A jewellery brand, Durham Rose, also posted about the proposal, writing: 'Our client's proposal is giving us all the Pinterest vibes! Dreamy Santorini, sun-kissed yacht, and a YESS to this beautifully bespoke ring!!'
Butler had earlier hinted at his plans, saying: 'I also have secret plans. I'm planning to propose to my partner, so it'd be nice to spend a bit of money on that, maybe taking her somewhere nice.' The discovery has led many to believe a Faithful victory is on the cards.
