Traitors Fans Demand BBC Stop 'Spoiling' Show With Uncloaked Guest 'Pattern'
Traitors fans plead for Uncloaked to stop 'spoiling' main show

Fans of the hit BBC reality show The Traitors have issued a direct plea to producers, urging them to stop the companion programme Traitors: Uncloaked from accidentally 'spoiling' the main show's plot.

The Uncloaked 'Pattern' Giving Away Results

The issue centres on a perceived pattern in the guest line-up for Uncloaked, which airs on BBC One immediately after the main episode. Hosted by Ed Gamble, the show features recently eliminated contestants and celebrity guests dissecting the drama from the Scottish castle.

However, at the close of each Uncloaked episode, Gamble previews the guests for the following night. Sharp-eyed fans have noticed that these guests often share a thematic link with the contestant who is about to be banished or murdered in the next main episode, effectively revealing the outcome in advance.

Fans Spot the Clues

One viewer detailed the theory on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, on 10th January 2026. They cited the example from the episode leading to Fiona's banishment. The preview revealed that the next Uncloaked would feature Welsh singer Charlotte Church and former Welsh Traitor Amanda.

With the departing contestant Fiona also being Welsh, fans pieced together her fate before the episode aired. The fan also noted other instances, such as a previously secret couple appearing on Uncloaked just as another secret relationship was unveiled in the main game.

"They have themed guests, and the pattern is too obvious," the fan wrote, tagging the BBC and asking them to stop. The post garnered significant agreement, with one reply stating, "Agreed. Not subtle," while another admitted, "Really wish I hadn't read this!"

Mixed Reactions and a Tense Game Continues

Not all viewers agreed with the spoiler claim. Some argued that the context of the game sometimes made outcomes predictable regardless. Others questioned why people would check the guest list before watching. The original poster countered, stating that Ed Gamble verbally announces the guests at the end of each show, making it unavoidable for regular viewers.

The plea from fans comes after a tense episode which saw Traitor Fiona finally banished following her attempts to implicate Rachel. However, faithful contestant Harriet confessed she still suspects Rachel, setting up future conflict.

The episode ended on a major cliffhanger, as faithful Matthew attempted to strike a daring deal with the hidden Traitors. After learning they planned to murder Jessie, he proposed they refuse an upcoming 'seduction' opportunity, murder Jessie as planned, and then seduce him next time. Viewers must wait until next week to discover if the Traitors accepted his risky offer.
