Traitors Fans Urge BBC to End Uncloaked ‘Spoiler’ Pattern

Fans of the BBC's The Traitors have called on producers to stop the spin-off show The Traitors: Uncloaked from allegedly revealing upcoming eliminations. Viewers claim a pattern in the guest line-ups gives away which contestants will be banished or murdered in the main episode before it airs.

The spin-off, hosted by Ed Gamble, features banished and murdered contestants alongside celebrity guests. However, some fans have noticed that the guests often share characteristics with the player due to be eliminated next. For example, Friday’s edition included Welsh guests Charlotte Church and former Traitor Amanda, leading some to correctly predict the exit of Welsh contestant Fiona.

One viewer outlined the theory on X, writing: “They have themed guests, and the pattern is too obvious. I knew Fiona would go when I saw the guests were two ex-Welsh contestants and a Welsh traitor.” Others agreed, with one saying the link was “not subtle” and another admitting they wished they had not read the theory.

Not all fans were convinced, with some arguing that guests are often revealed after the episode has aired or that connections are too vague to be spoilers. Nonetheless, the debate has intensified as the series progresses, with many urging the BBC to adjust the scheduling or guest selection to prevent future reveals.

Meanwhile, the main show continues to deliver dramatic moments. In the latest episode, Traitor Fiona was banished after trying to frame Rachel, while Harriet has openly declared Rachel her “number one suspect.” In a tense cliffhanger, Matthew proposed a deal with the Traitors, asking them to murder Jessie in exchange for his future recruitment.
