Viewers noticed Jessie rushing to defend James after he lied about taking a shield during a previous challenge, leading to speculation that they are related.
During the episode, James faced suspicion from the group for his deception. Jessie quickly stepped in, saying, 'Can I just add please, because I don't want James to get a lot of heat. If he was a Traitor, he wouldn't be desperate to get one.' In her confessional, she added, 'It is hard because James is my best mate, but he has messed up really.'
