Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin has laughed off speculation that he is romantically involved with his celebrity dance partner Layton Williams. The 25-year-old Ukrainian dancer, who is partnered with the actor and singer for the current series, addressed the rumours during a recent interview.
Kuzmin's personal life has been a topic of public interest following his split from fellow dancer Nicole Wirt in October 2022, after five years together. The break-up fuelled rumours of the so-called 'Strictly curse', with sources claiming Kuzmin ended the relationship to focus on his career.
He was later linked to Australian TikTok star and sex podcaster Charlie Backshall, but that relationship also ended. Kuzmin is now dating model and social media influencer Lauren Jaine, who has been seen supporting him at the Strictly studios and has been welcomed by his family and fellow pros.
Despite the attention on his love life, Kuzmin remains focused on his partnership with Williams, and the pair have been praised for their performances on the show.
