Strictly Come Dancing fans have expressed outrage after the results of Week 5, Icons week, were leaked online. The outcome, filmed after Saturday's show, has been circulating since 2012, but this week's elimination has particularly angered viewers.
While Express.co.uk has withheld the names of the eliminated couple, it confirmed that two celebrities faced a dance-off. Fans took to social media to vent, with one calling the result 'a complete joke' and another saying 'the wrong person went out'. A third fan argued the show is now 'a popularity poll' rather than a talent competition.
The controversy comes shortly after hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly announced they will leave the show after 21 years. In a video on October 23, they revealed plans for a final dance during the Christmas Day special, which will air on BBC One and iPlayer.
This week's elimination marks the first since the hosts' departure news. The results show airs Sundays at 7.15pm on BBC One.
