Darrell Sheets, known as 'The Gambler' on the reality series 'Storage Wars,' has died at age 67. Police in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, said he died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Officers were called to a home on Chandler Drive at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, where they found Sheets deceased. The Mohave County Medical Examiner's office is investigating, and the family has been notified.
Sheets appeared on 163 episodes of 'Storage Wars' from 2010 to 2023, often making risky bids on storage lockers. He also made guest appearances on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' and Rachael Ray's show. His son Brandon Sheets appeared alongside him on the A&E series.
After suffering a heart attack in 2019, Sheets retired to Arizona, where he ran an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
