Stacey Solomon has returned to work following weeks of speculation about her marriage to Joe Swash. The Loose Women star was seen without her wedding ring, fuelling rumours of a split, but has insisted the couple will not let the gossip break them.
Speaking on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, Solomon said: 'Who cares if the whole world is like, ‘Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce’? If we know it’s not true, who cares?' She added that like any couple, they have ups and downs, but the public scrutiny does not affect their relationship.
However, sources close to the couple revealed that Solomon is struggling with the constant speculation. 'Stacey is fed up with the divorce rumours,' a source said. 'All couples have their ups and downs, but they’re having theirs in the spotlight.' The source noted that while Swash is more laid-back, Solomon is sensitive and reads the comments.
The couple, who met on I'm a Celebrity in 2010 and began dating in 2016, married in a private ceremony at their home in 2022. Solomon clarified on Instagram that they are not legally married yet, but plan to do so later. Despite the pressures of balancing family and careers, the source concluded: 'They won’t let this break them.'
