Sophie Habboo Shares Son Ziggy's First Jeans in Cute Update

Reality television personalities Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing have offered their followers another endearing peek into their family life, sharing a tender moment with their infant son, Ziggy. The couple, who became first-time parents in December 2025, have been regularly updating fans on their journey through parenthood via social media and their popular podcast series.

A Milestone Moment Captured

Sophie Habboo, aged 31, recently posted a series of images on her Instagram Stories that melted the hearts of her audience. In one photograph, the proud mother is seen embracing her baby boy, Ziggy, while planting a gentle kiss on his head. A second image provided a close-up view of the little one's weekend attire, highlighting a significant first for the young child.

Accompanying the photos, Sophie wrote an emotional caption that read, "My boy in his first pair of jeans," followed by a string of crying face emojis. This update marks yet another in a series of 'first' experiences the couple has documented since Ziggy's arrival, showcasing their joy in these precious early milestones.

From Screen to Family Life

Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing, 37, first crossed paths on the E4 reality series Made In Chelsea back in 2017. Their relationship blossomed on-screen, leading to a wedding ceremony in 2023 surrounded by close family and friends. The duo has since expanded their media presence beyond television, co-hosting a podcast that has evolved alongside their personal lives.

Initially titled Newlyweds during their wedding planning phase, the podcast was rebranded as NearlyParents in June of last year, reflecting their anticipation of Ziggy's arrival. Through this platform, they have offered candid insights into their relationship dynamics and the transition to parenthood.

Expanding Their Media Footprint

Fans of the couple can look forward to even more intimate glimpses into their family life through an upcoming Disney+ documentary series. Provisionally titled Jamie and Sophie: Raising Chelsea, the show promises to document their experiences as new parents navigating the challenges and joys of raising their son.

In a statement about the forthcoming series, the couple expressed their enthusiasm, saying, "For nearly a decade, we've brought audiences along the highs and lows of our personal and professional lives through TV, radio, social media and our podcasts. It's such an honour to now partner with the incredible teams at Disney+ and Dorothy St Pictures to bring our next chapter to viewers across the globe."

They added, "Navigating our lives with a baby on the way has opened up a whole new stage of our relationship – we can't wait to give you a front row seat."

Balancing Public and Private Lives

While sharing their journey publicly, Jamie Laing has been open about the difficulties of separating their media careers from their personal relationship. He previously acknowledged, "The big challenge is leaving it at the office. I obsess over things and I've found it very tricky to leave it at the door. Our relationship has become our work, so it's a challenge to separate it from normal life."

The couple has also maintained their characteristic humor throughout their parenting journey. In a recent social media exchange, Jamie teased Sophie about their changing body shapes post-parenthood, joking about missing his pre-baby figure. Sophie responded with playful encouragement, telling him to "get your a*s to the gym," while Jamie humorously declared the arrival of his "dad bod era."

Overcoming Parental Anxieties

Jamie Laing has been remarkably transparent about his initial apprehensions regarding fatherhood. He confessed last year, "For a long time, I was very scared about it because I think I'm probably quite selfish. I like doing things that I like doing. When you have a baby, that all changes."

However, a conversation with his own father helped shift his perspective. Jamie revealed, "I spoke to my dad, and I thought, 'Well, this is an amazing journey that I could go on.' Sophie wants to be a mum more than anything, and who am I to deny that just because of selfish reasons?"

He further reflected on the long-term significance of their decision, adding, "I thought when I get to 90 years old hopefully and I'm in my rocking chair or an ice bath and Sophie's there… you don't want to look back at life and think I wish I'd done that."

As Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing continue to document their family's growth through social media, podcasts, and upcoming television projects, they remain committed to sharing both the tender moments and honest challenges of modern parenthood with their devoted audience.
