Palm Beach Socialite Claims 'Thrilling' Kiss with President Reagan
Socialite's Bombshell: Kissed President Reagan on Lips

A socialite from the exclusive world of Palm Beach has dropped a sensational claim on a popular Netflix reality series, alleging she once shared a kiss with a former President of the United States.

The Bombshell Revelation on Netflix

Suebelle Robbins, a 70-year-old fixture of the Palm Beach social scene, made headlines during her appearance on Netflix's 'Members Only: Palm Beach'. In a bid to outdo a story from a co-star, Robbins declared that she had kissed former US President Ronald Reagan "on the lips" while at the White House.

The moment occurred as the show's cast attended a wedding. Fellow socialite Gale Brophy recounted calling ex-President Bill Clinton after a family scare. Not to be upstaged, Suebelle interjected with her own presidential anecdote, leaving the other women visibly stunned. They immediately questioned how Reagan's wife, Nancy, reacted. Robbins' enigmatic reply was: "I think they tore me away from him."

Elaborating on the 'Thrilling' Encounter

Following the show's release on Netflix this week, Robbins provided more details in an Instagram video posted on December 31, 2025. She explained that she and her then-husband, who worked for Gannett Newspapers, were invited to a White House Christmas party.

"I got really friendly with the colour guard and found out where Ronald was gonna be coming so I was right there," she recalled. When someone began discussing banking with the President, she saw her chance. "I said 'Oh you can meet a banker any day, I think you're adorable.' And I went and I kissed him and uh, it was a really thrilling thing."

Her followers celebrated the story in the comments, with one calling it "awesome" and another joking that if Suebelle taught history, everyone would attend.

The World of 'Members Only: Palm Beach'

The eight-part series, which became available for streaming this week, delves into the lives of five affluent women in the elite Florida enclave. Netflix describes it as a look into a "manicured world of privilege and private clubs" where influence and access trump even vast wealth.

Despite being a fringe member of the cast, Suebelle Robbins has undoubtedly become a central talking point. Her claim of a spontaneous, thrilling kiss with President Ronald Reagan adds a layer of historical intrigue to the glossy reality show, proving that in Palm Beach, the past can be as dramatic as the present.
