Sharon Osbourne's tense reaction to Jack's I'm A Celeb trial

Television personality Kelly Osbourne has given fans a glimpse into her family's living room, where mother Sharon Osbourne watched her son Jack undertake a nerve-shredding challenge on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

A Mother's Agony

Sharon Osbourne was pictured barely able to watch as her son, Jack, took on his first solo Bushtucker Trial, titled 'Drown The Hatch'. The reality TV star, a late signing for the hit ITV show, had to submerge himself in a chamber of water filled with lobsters and toads to win stars for the camp.

Filming the moment on social media, Kelly Osbourne revealed the tension was so palpable that she found herself holding her breath during the broadcast. "I was holding my breath, and I realised half way through the first commercial I was still holding my breath," Kelly explained, highlighting the intensity of the challenge where contestants only have two minutes to complete the task.

Gasps and Cheers

The Osbourne sisters reacted with a mixture of shock and pride as Jack demonstrated an impressive ability to hold his breath, managing 26 seconds in the first chamber. More gasps followed from the pair as the tense music played, with Kelly shouting "Yes Jackie!" with a huge grin.

However, the final chamber proved almost too much for Sharon to bear. The camera panned to Mrs O, who had her head in her hands, nervously hitting her daughter as eels entered Jack's chamber. She could barely watch on as her son went for the final stars.

A Triumphant Finish

The family's anxiety quickly turned to elation as Jack emerged victorious, securing a clean sweep of 12 stars. Sharon punched the air in celebration, while a relieved Kelly gushed to her followers, "He did f***ing amazing."

Kelly also expressed how she believed she was more nervous during the task than Jack was, stating she is immensely proud of her brother. She also endorsed a new nickname for Jack, given by his campmate Aitch, confirming that "J-Aquaman" will be sticking when he returns home from the Australian jungle.

I'm A Celebrity 2025 airs every night at 9PM on ITV1 and ITVX.
