Rob Kardashian has made a surprise return to the family's Hulu reality series, The Kardashians, after a lengthy absence. The 37-year-old appeared in the season seven premiere, which aired on Thursday, marking his first on-screen appearance with the family in years.
In the episode, Rob joined his mother Kris Jenner and siblings Khloé, Kim, Kourtney, Kylie, and Kendall at Kris's Hidden Hills home for a final gathering before the property is sold. Kris expressed her joy at having all her children together, saying, 'All my kids are here tonight... and even Rob, which means the world to me.'
While Rob did not speak in confessionals or wear a microphone, he was shown interacting with family members. Khloé addressed his return in a confessional, stating, 'Yes, guys. Rob is here. I know everyone is hoping that Rob comes back to the show, and trust me, we are too.' She also dismissed conspiracy theories about his wellbeing, adding, 'He's not some miserable person that lives under a bridge. He's not a Gruffalo.'
Rob was a regular on the family's original E! series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, until 2016. He later appeared in his own spin-off with ex-fiancée Blac Chyna. Speaking on Khloé's podcast earlier this year, Rob explained his absence, saying, 'I'm not gonna just put myself out there if I'm not comfortable with myself. I haven't been comfortable with myself in years. And I choose my own happiness and peace.'
