RHONJ Season 15: Giudice and Gorga Return as Cast Shakeup Revealed

RHONJ Season 15 Brings Back Feuding Sisters-in-Law After Hiatus

Bravo has officially confirmed that Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are set to return for the upcoming fifteenth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The announcement, made on Tuesday, reveals the feuding sisters-in-law will join existing cast member Dolores Catania as part of what is being described as a soft reboot for the long-running reality series.

Mended Relationships Pave Way for Filming

The series had been on pause since 2024 following its fourteenth season, which concluded with the cast deeply divided and refusing to film together. At the heart of the conflict was the bitter feud between Giudice and Gorga, which also led to Giudice becoming estranged from her brother Joe, Gorga's husband.

However, during the hiatus, the trio managed to reconcile their differences. Teresa and Joe appeared together at BravoCon in November, and the family spent Christmas Eve reunited. "Things are in a good place," Giudice recently stated regarding her renewed relationship with her brother and sister-in-law. "I talked to my brother, first because I thought that was only right. He was really happy to see me. I was happy to see him… I want him in my life. I want his wife in my life, my sister-in-law, my niece, and nephews in my life. Like, that's the most important thing."

Major Cast Shakeup Sees Fan Favorites Depart

With Giudice, Gorga, and Catania confirmed for the new season, it is widely assumed that several other cast members will not be returning. Newcomers Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda, along with supporting stars Jen Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider, are expected to be absent from Season 15.

In a significant development, fan favorite Margaret Josephs confirmed her official exit from RHONJ in an emotional social media post on Tuesday morning. "I've been in talks with the network and Andy [Cohen] since December and we've discussed it and I think the timing is right," she explained. "A lot of things have changed in my life. I've been blessed to work on a different project – I'm on the set right now. And I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break and move on."

This news has surprised many, as Josephs was reportedly one of the key stars involved in test filming with potential new cast members in recent months for the show's rumored reboot.

Additional Exits and Network Reboot Efforts

Jennifer Aydin, who joined the series shortly after Josephs, also indicated last year that she had likely been let go. "A lot of you have been asking me if I'm still on the [show] or not. I can honestly say that nobody has told me anything," she told fans in October. "I've heard they are test filming. And I wasn't invited to BravoCon. So by the looks of it, I think it's safe to say, probably not. And that's okay. I'm good." Aydin has since launched her own podcast.

Bravo has been actively working to retool and reboot the show for over a year, following its hiatus after Season 14. The majority of the previous cast has been axed as the network seeks to refresh the series for its next chapter.

Tributes and Future Projects for Departing Stars

Tributes poured in for Margaret Josephs from her former castmates following her announcement. Melissa Gorga wrote, "Your one liners were my favorite part of the show. I completely understand this decision. Your next chapter will be a fantastic one and I can't wait to see what's next for you." Danielle Cabral added, "Whaaaa? Why am I always the last to know?! To me, you were the GOAT. You went out with the greatest mic drop of all time. Love you! Enjoy the peace." Even Andy Cohen himself commented, "No thank YOU. What a ride. Also I LOVE your house and taste - always and forever."

Josephs is now filming a new reality series for Amazon, described as a spin on Bravo's Girls Trip franchise with an Eat, Pray, Love twist, featuring stars like Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak. Meanwhile, Bravo confirms that filming for RHONJ Season 15 will commence shortly, marking a new era for the iconic reality show.
