Ashley Roberts Takes Blame for Harry Redknapp's Name Mix-Up on I'm a Celebrity

Ashley Roberts has revealed that she and Scarlett Moffatt were partly responsible for Harry Redknapp mistakenly calling Seann Walsh 'Stuart' on I'm a Celebrity... South Africa. The 79-year-old former football manager was tasked with eliminating one of his campmates after a challenge and chose Walsh, but got his name wrong.

Speaking on Heart Radio's Breakfast Show, Roberts explained that an unaired moment saw Redknapp looking at a chalkboard where campmates' names were written, but she and Moffatt had just erased them. 'So, it looks like he was looking for help to remember Seann's name, and then he said 'Stuart',' she said.

Redknapp later addressed the incident, saying he initially volunteered to leave but was turned down. Upon returning to camp, he was asked to decide who would be sent home. 'I'm stood there, I'm the King and I've got a silly crown on, and I forgot his name - it had gone completely blank,' he said at a live event. 'I was looking over at the board, but someone had wiped it out.'

Seann Walsh took the blunder in good spirits, responding: 'Oh fair enough, yeah, that's absolutely fair enough.' Redknapp subsequently corrected himself and apologised. The remaining contestants include Harry, Ashley, Scarlett, David Haye, Gemma Collins, Sinitta, Sir Mo Farah, Adam Thomas, Beverley Callard, Craig Charles and Jimmy Bullard.

I'm a Celebrity... South Africa airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV and ITVX, with the live final on April 24.
